£150,000 target - We Need YOUR Help!
Maidenhead United FC is celebrating its 150th anniversary during the 2020/21 season. As a community focused club, our priority during the COVID-19 pandemic has been to support the local community. Our Magpies Community Helpline has been a great success but has made us become increasingly aware of the difficulties which local charities are experiencing.
The Club has decided to set ourselves the target of raising £150,000 to be shared between 15 local charities during our anniversary year. Each of the beneficiary charities provide vital services and activities for people living in Maidenhead, Windsor and the surrounding areas.
The Magpies 150 Challenge is a call to action to those who want to provide vital fundraising support for local charitable organisations. Anyone can take the Magpies 150 Challenge, whatever your age or abilities. You can donate via the Magpies 150 website and we are encouraging everyone to choose a Magpies 150 Challenge of their choosing.
All you need to do is think of an activity based around the numbers 1.5, 15 or 150 that suits your skills, set up a fundraising page on Just Giving or Virgin Money Giving and complete your challenge. Don’t forget to share your activities and fundraising pages on social media, using the hashtag #Magpies150Challenge
