Macmillan Coffee Morning

We are hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 27th September from 9.30am – 3.30pm at:

SportsAble, Braywick Park, Braywick Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1BN

Come and join us for coffee, cake and conversation.  Have a go on the Tombola or try one of the FREE activities that are taking place on the day.  For all activities please arrive 15 minutes beforehand.  On arrival make your way to the registration tent by the Braywick all-weather pitch (next to SportsAble), where the team will be happy to help you.

Under 5’s Football (Mini Magpies)
The FREE session is a fun introduction to football for children aged between 1½ and 5 years of age.  The session will be held from 10.15am – 11.00am on the AstroTurf at Braywick Park.  Children should wear clothes suitable for running around in.  If you would like any additional information on Mini Magpies, please contact: mark.nisbet@maidenheadunitedfc.org

Discovery with Three
Will be on hand throughout the day to answer your queries on APPs for your tablets or mobile devices.  Just pop down grab a coffee and have a chat with the representatives.  Please remember to bring your devices with you!

SMILE Led Walk
The walk will leave from Braywick (registration tent) at 9.30am and will take place in and around the surrounding area returning to SportsAble at approximately 10.30am for some coffee and cake.  The walk is a moderate paced walk where exercise and conversation are the focus.   Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for outdoor walking.  Further information on SMILE sessions can be found via their website:  http://smilecharity.co.uk/

SMILE Exercise Class
The SMILE exercise class is for anyone over the age of 50.  Sessions are a mixture of aerobics and strengthening exercises.  The sessions are a great way to meet new people as well as improving your health and fitness.  Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for indoor exercise.  Further information on SMILE sessions can be found via their website:  http://smilecharity.co.uk/

Tai Chi
Is an exercise which can improve strength, coordination, poster and balance.  The sessions is suitable for people of all ages and abilities and can be done both standing and fully seated.  Further information on Tai Chi can be found via their website:  https://followsteps.co.uk/

Walking Football Tournament
Throughout the day an Over 55’s Walking Football Tournament will be taking place on the Braywick AstroTurf, please come along and cheer on the walking footballers.
